USA Launches United Way Campaign

The University of South Alabama United Way Campaign began recently with a kick-off breakfast at the Waterman Globe. This year's goal is $281,732, a 3.5 percent increase over the donations raised last year from USA employees. The United Way campaign at USA runs through Oct. 17.

At the breakfast are, from left, Angelo Miller, executive director of the United Way of Southwest Alabama; Dr. David Johnson, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and chairman of the 2008 USA Campaign; Andy Wynne of St. Mary's Home, a United Way agency; Terry Harbin, 2008 United Way Campaign Chair; Dr. Richard Talbott, dean of the College of Allied Health Professions and co-chair of the 2008 USA Campaign; and Dr. Joseph F. Busta, Jr., USA vice president for development and alumni relations.
