University of South Alabama students and alumni are invited to speak with representatives from local and national companies during the 2009 Spring Career Expo, which will be held from 1-4:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 19 in the USA Mitchell Center.
The job fair, sponsored by the USA Career Services Center, provides students and alumni with information about current job openings and career fields. Undergraduate students can also learn about co-ops and internship opportunities.
Prior to the expo, students and alumni can attend various workshops to prepare for the event. The workshops include: “Resume Development: Write it Right” on Tuesday, Feb. 10; “Career Expo Success: Learn How to Work a Career Fair” on Wednesday, Feb. 11; “Job Outlook 2009: Managing Your Job Search in Tough Times” on Thursday, Feb. 12; and “Interview Skills: Putting Your Best ‘You’ Forward” on Tuesday, Feb. 17. All of the workshops will be held at 3 p.m. in the USA Career Services Center, 2100 Meisler Hall.
