University employees will have the opportunity to identify and recommend ideas for cutting costs and improving efficiency through the new JAG$Cents program.
Participants may submit their suggestions through a Web site set up and operated by the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment.
“We hope everyone will participate, and participants whose suggestions are implemented will be recognized for their contribution,” said Dr. Joan Exline, associate vice president of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment.
To be eligible for consideration, the suggestions must identify ways to reduce costs or conserve resources without negatively impacting the learning environment. Ideas will be ineligible if the participant already has the authority to make the changes as part of normal job duties, if the ideas are critical of another employee, or if the idea is already under consideration.
Participants will be asked to give their name, department, telephone number and e-mail address when submitting their suggestions.
