University of South Alabama Associate Director of Development Tracy Coleman was honored as the United Way of Southwest Alabama's 2009 Employee Campaign “Coordinator of the Year.”

For the past five years, Coleman, along with a team of USA faculty and staff division representatives, has successfully conducted USA's United Way campaign, one of the region’s largest. She uses model campaign practices at USA, such as a targeted leadership-giving solicitation and an annual Women's Initiative event. Through her efforts, the participation of University employees has increased each of the last five years. The award honors her years of service to United Way.
