The University of South Alabama will hold its 2010 Homecoming featuring several major public events, culminating in the Homecoming football game against the Reddies of Henderson State at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The theme for the Homecoming is “Reddie or Not: Here We Come.”
Jaguar Productions is sponsoring a performance by comedian Josh Wade on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. A high-energy performer, Wade has appeared on Saturday Night Live, Comedy Central, National Public Radio, and most recently, in a new pilot for MTV networks.
On Friday, Nov. 5, the community is invited to a Homecoming parade that will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a pep rally at Moulton Tower and Alumni Plaza. Former Major League Baseball star and USA alumnus Jon Lieber will serve as grand marshal of the parade.
Following the pep rally, a free concert by national rock band Sister Hazel will be held in the Mitchell Center for the University community and general public.
Homecoming Day, on Saturday, Nov. 6, will feature the USA Jaguar football game against Henderson State of Arkansas at 4 p.m. For ticket information, visit www.usagameday.com.
