University of South Alabama Career Services will host a Spring Webinar Series and several workshops in the month of April for USA students and alumni, including “Professional Behavior,” “Deciding on a Major,” and “Life After College.” All of the events are free.
The Spring Career Webinar Series will feature hot career topics at 2 p.m. every Wednesday in the month of April, including: “The Future Career: A Buffet of Options Available to You” on April 4; “Preparing for the Real World” on April 11; “Your First Real Job: Sink or Swim” on April 18; and “Jobs That Matter” on April 25.
Workshops for the month of April begin with “Professional Behavior” on Tuesday, April 3, at 2:30 p.m. This workshop focuses on what employers are looking for from their employees. Topics include the definition of professional behavior, having integrity, being a team player, confidentiality, and being a committed professional.
“Deciding on a Major” will be held on Wednesday, April 4, at 3 p.m. This workshop will help students identify and research majors and careers that are right for them.
“Life After College” will be held on Wednesday, April 11, at 3 p.m. This Career Services workshop will provide students and recent graduates with helpful hints that will better prepare them for the transition from college to professional life.
