The University of South Alabama Mitchell Master of Business Administration class of 2012 is ranked among the nation’s best with its performance on the ETS MBA Field Exam. The class as a whole scored in the 97th percentile on the standardized test that assesses knowledge of accounting, finance, management and marketing and is given to graduating MBA students at more than 200 accredited schools of business. The test performance by the 2012 MBA class marked the third consecutive year that Mitchell MBA classes have been ranked in the Top-10 percent nationally.
Mitchell College of Business Director of Graduate Studies Dr. John Gamble said that the high scores on the national test reflect the strength of the Mitchell MBA Program and the quality of students attracted to USA’s graduate programs.
“The elite status of our graduating MBAs is a result of our program’s solid curriculum and excellent faculty, but also because of the caliber of students enrolled in the program,” Gamble said. “The Mitchell MBA program has consistently attracted the strongest applicants from the Mobile area—whether recent graduates or experienced professionals in business, engineering, health care, or the non-profit sector.”
