Stephanie McDaniel has been promoted to Director of Customer Service at University of South Alabama Children’s & Women’s Hospital.
In the new position, McDaniel will oversee the hospital’s communications department, which includes operators and patient transporters. She will monitor patient grievances and be responsible for patient advocacy. McDaniel will also create, implement and maintain customer service education for the staff and expand employee morale programs.
A customer service specialist with the hospital since 2009, McDaniel received the 2011-2012 Christie Miree Outstanding Employee Service Award in the professional division. She received her master’s in public administration from Troy University in 2008.
