Welcome to the website of the University of South Alabama Rescue Squad!

The First Collegiate Emergency Medical Service in the State of Alabama

Founded 2005

The USA Rescue Squad is an organization composed of USA students who provide services to promote the health and safety of the students, faculty, and staff of the University of South Alabama.
The mission of the USA Rescue Squad is:

1. To provide standby emergency medical coverage for all intramural sports games and certain other campus events,

2. To offer free blood pressure screenings for students, faculty, and staff on a regular basis, and

3. To teach low-cost CPR and First Aid classes for both USARS members and non-members.
