Blood Pressure Screenings
The USA Rescue Squad offers
regular blood pressure screenings for the university community. Students,
faculty, staff, and visitors are all welcome to drop by and have their blood
pressure checked. There is no charge for the screening. Trained Rescue Squad
members will perform the screenings and provide literature and education from current
American Heart Association recommendations. Screenings typically are held
around lunch time in the
USARS members screened over
100 people for high blood pressure during the spring 2006 semester at three
screenings, including:
