EDSITEMent is one of seven partner sites featured on Marco Polo: Internet Content for the Classroom. Sections on Art and Culture, Literature and Language Arts, Foreign Language, and History and Social Studies are included. Each section has unit plans and websites for student and teacher use.

ReadWriteThink was unveiled in October 2002 as the newest partner site within the Marco Polo portal. ReadWriteThink provides educators and students access to the highest quality lessons and resources in reading and language arts instruction.

The International Reading Association is a professional membership organization dedicated to promoting high levels of literacy for all by improving the quality of reading instruction, disseminating research and information about reading, and encouraging the lifetime reading habit. Our members include classroom teachers, reading specialists, consultants, administrators, supervisors, university faculty, researchers, psychologists, librarians, media specialists, and parents.
The National Council of Teachers of English is the professional association for educators in English Studies, Literacy, and Language Arts. This website provides tools and resources for elementary through post-secondary instruction, as well as membership and convention information.
The Internet Public Library is a public service organization and a learning/teaching environment at the University of Michigan School of Information. Fantastic reference section, including almanacs, dictionaries, encyclopedias, style and writing guides, magazines, newspapers from around the world, and so much more.
Featuring book reviews for K-12 students and lesson plans for teachers, Kidreach is sponsored by the State University of West Georgia. It's also a great place to go for reading and writing links.
Book reviews and online discussions are the highlights of BookMuse, but you'll also find interviews with authors and literary prize lists. You can submit your own reviews and subscribe to the newsletter.
