Science Netlinks is one of seven partner sites featured on Marco Polo: Internet Content for the Classroom. Sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the site provides lessons, Internet-based activities, tools, and links to other websites to get you started.

One of the best sites on the 'net, in my humble opinion, NASA Kids is designed and maintained by a former mission specialist. Yet, the information is presented in a way that is appealing to kids... of all ages. Give it a try!

Science teachers will find this website packed with resources, including online journals and books, calendars with This Date in History features, suppliers' guides, convention information, and discussion boards. NSTA also provides online applications for memberships to its sponsoring organization, the National Science Teachers Association.
Scientific American features news, trivia, articles, and an ask-the-expert section. Teachers can sign up to have free newsletters delivered to their email box and search archived editions for specific articles.
The Science Spot has a great reference desk section, puzzles, lessons, project ideas, a nature center, and much more. I really like this one!
THE resource for Marine Biology teachers, CephBase is a database-driven web site on all living cephalopods (octopus, squid, cuttlefish and nautilus). It is literally brimming with quality images and videos of sealife. Check out the searchable data bases and the knowledge base too!
A fellow Technology in Motion Training Specialist, Barry Wiginton of Athens State University, is a former high school science teacher. Here is his list of the most useful Science Sites on the 'net!
