OFFICER’S REPORTS:
President:
Vice President: Proctor needs senators to help work the tables from 11-1 PM for Get on Board Day. Senators who help out will receive office hours.
Treasurer: N/A
Attorney General: Bettis and the other Officers are meeting Tuesday with the Higher Education Partnership. Any Senator wishing to attend can meet in the SGA office at 12 PM.
Chief Justice: Al-Greene plans to meet with the USA Parking Committee on October 7th. Anyone with suggestions on hoe to improve parking at South should talk with Al-Green.
Student-At-Large: Pittman asked the Senators who signed up to be on the Student Center Advisory Board to meet with her after the meeting.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Perry met with Housing and Food Services and Dr. Smith to discuss the new Cafeteria. Students will be able to pick their own ingredients and watch the food being prepared. The new Cafeteria is a “Green” building, so there will be no parking built, but it will have better food and better hours.
Guy has updated the list of office hours, excepting the Appropriations Committee’s hours.
Smith needs to meet with Senators who signed up to be on the Academics Committee after the meeting. Any new members who wish to join should also stay after.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Jones presented an idea of a Homecoming Fundraiser to raise money for the USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital. He wants to do a haunted trail on South’s campus that will be open to both the students and the community. Tickets would cost $3 for students and $5 for anyone else in the community. Jones wants to get Sororities, Fraternities, and other campus organizations involved to make the scenes for the trail. His idea needs to be approved by Dean Mitchell, but the name of the event would be “Jaguars Prowloween”.
Youngblood invited all senators to Buffalo Wild Wings this Thursday at 7 PM. He also reminded senators to be thinking of ideas for Higher Education Day.
Proctor needs to meet with all the new senators after the meeting.
