Fitness Assessments & Personal Training
Why hire a personal trainer? One-on-one instruction can give you motivation, proper workout form and techniques, relieve boredom, and add variety!

Our Trainers

The experienced trainers at the Student Recreation Center have either a nationally-recognized Personal Fitness Trainer certification and/or a college degree in Exercise Science. New trainers who are working towards a national certification have completed a 12-week in-house course and apprenticed under the Fitness Coordinator.

In addition, the Fitness Coordinator specializes in clinical exercise physiology and has experience training clients with a variety of conditions including post-cardiac rehab, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, osteoporosis, stroke, diabetes, and cancer. Should you have a special medical need, please call the Fitness Coordinator at 460-7268 to determine if personal training at the Student Recreation Center is right for you.
