|In order to receive a Jag Card, you must present a valid form of photo identification and a current class schedule. Only current students may be issued a Jag Card.
The Jag Card is intended to be used the entire time you are associated with the University of South Alabama. Since it is your personal University identification card, it should be carried at all times and must be presented to University officials upon request. The card is non-transferable.
Possession and or/use of Jag Card by someone other than the person identified on the card is a violation of university policy. Misuse, alteration of, or abuse of a Jag Card will result in loss of privileges granted by the card, and/or disciplinary action taken.
In addition to serving as the USA identification card, the University has a one-card management program that is offered to the cardholders. This allows the Jag Card to also serve as the cardholder’s meal plan, library card, and admission to athletic events and the Rec Center as well as access to discounted movie tickets through Jaguar Productions.
The Jag Card reduces the need to carry cash, checks, or credit cards for daily incidentals, thus providing a safe and convenient method for using campus services. Any current Jag Card holder may open a Jag Cash declining balance account. This declining balance account can be used at the Bookstore, Jaguar Productions and most USA Dining Service locations to include the Market, Daily Grind, Sandwich Shop, and Delta Deli. To open an account, please come by our office to make a deposit. Accounts must be opened with $25.00 or more. Cash and check accepted.
Jag Card account balances may be viewed at the SouthPaw Services office or online at https://southalabama.managemyid.com/ only. Balances will not be given over the phone.
Report any lost or stolen Jag Cards immediately to SouthPaw Services or online at https://southalabama.managemyid.com/ to place a hold on the account. Any Jag Cards reported lost or stolen will not be reactivated over the phone. Only Jag Cards presented in person at SouthPaw Services by the cardholder identified on the card, or online at https://southalabama.managemyid.com/ will be reinstated as an active account.
All Jag Cards issued by SouthPaw Services ID lab remain the property of the University of South Alabama.
The University reserves the right to delete cardholder accounts which have been inactive for a period of 18 months and which are held by individuals who are no longer associated with the University. Account balances of such deleted accounts will become the property of the University.
