We have six rooms available for general meetings, an Art Gallery for display of student works and for meetings, and a Ballroom for large events.

Room Setup Types

Terrace Events

Terrace events are handled by Aramark. All Student Center catering must be provided by Aramark, NO OUTSIDE CATERING. For more information, please call (251) 460-7948, or email at catering@usouthal.edu.

Breezeway Spaces and SGA Courtyard

The Breezeway is the outdoor area of the Student Center located between the Compass ATM and the entrance of the Student Center. There are four Breezeway spots open for groups daily, with a minimum of 2 tables per group. You MUST stay in your designated breezeway space. To view a diagram of Breezeway Spaces, click here.

Amphitheater

The Amphitheater is the area outside of the bookstore, between the Student Center and Meisler Hall. It can be reserved for outdoor performances.

Lobby

The Student Center Lobby areas may also be reserved for special events. The North Lobby is located by the Post Office and Game Room. The East Lobby is located by Jaguar Productions.

A/V Equipment

A/V Equipment is available for use when reserving a room. Items available: laptop, LCD projector, podiums, microphones (wireless and wired), microphone stands, overhead projector, TV/VCR, portable sound system.
