Day 1 - Monday, May 11
We departed the USA campus around 9:00am, drove 810 miles, and arrived at the Meridian Inn in Oklahoma City around midnight. This morning we will be deciding between working the dryline in the Texas Panhandle today or just setting up for a severe weather outbreak tomorrow that should stretch from Illinois to Oklahoma.
Here is a pic of the Storm Chase group at the Texas Welcome Center on I-20. The group certainly looks a lot more energetic here than they did when we checked into the hotel after midnight.
