Place on campus
Place to Eat in Mobile
The Mitchell Center and Stanky Field are my favorite places on campus. I really love going to the basketball and baseball games. There’s nothing like the roar of a Jaguar crowd to keep me excited about being a member of the Jaguar Nation. As a graduate student, the games were place where my classmates turned into great friends. My friends and I still try to go to games as often as possible.
My favorite USA tradition is Orientation. Since I was a student it has grown and become a really fun event for new students. My favorite part of the year is meeting students who are full of excitement and ready to begin their college experience.
Thing about USA
I love going to our athletic events and cheering on the Jags!
I like to support local businesses, so I really enjoy Café Royal in downtown Mobile. The restaurant is reminiscent of the 1940s. When I eat there, I feel like Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn might walk in at any moment. I also really enjoy Satori Coffee House, which is located near campus. They have great sandwiches and specialty coffees.
I listen to a wide variety of music. At any given time, you might find me humming tunes from The Black Keys, Billy Idol, or Vampire Weekend.
My all-time favorite book is Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. The book (which could be used as a door stop) has everything a reader could ask for: adventure, romance, and intrigue. I find it hard to resist the wit and double-sided charm of Rhett Butler and Scarlet O’Hara.
