goal of the NCLB Partnership is to prepare highly qualified teachers
through extensive clinical field experiences and tutelage under
the watchful eyes of master teachers and university faculty.
The
cornerstone of the NCLB Partnership is collaboration. All of our
clinical field experiences rely on collaboration with our K-12 colleagues.
Without our public schools, we have no teacher education program.
The NCLB Partnership enriches the concept of collaboration. USA
interns are immersed in the K-12 classroom from the first day. Each
intern is assigned a Mentor Teacher, a master teacher. Interns learn
and assume the responsibilities of paraprofessionals, working alongside
teachers to provide instruction for children.
