Jennifer
Estes
Jennifer
Estes is a junior at the University of South Alabama and
is working on a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
She is currently a Student Intern at Bessie C. Fonvielle
Elementary School with the No Child Left Behind Partnership.
Jennifer is in a third grade classroom with cooperating
teacher Vickie Coleman. After graduating in December, Jennifer
plans to start her teaching career in the Mobile County
School System and continue her education by purusing her
Master's Degree in Education.

Jessica
Franklin
Jessica
Franklin is a senior at the University of South Alabama.
She is double-majoring in Speech Patholology and Elementary
Education. After graduating, Jessica plans to work in the
Mobile County Public School System and continue her education
in graduate school. She is currently working at Fonvielle
Elementary as a Student Intern in Mrs. Amy Jones' kindergarten
class. Jessica believes that teaching is not a profession
that a person chooses -- she believes teaching chooses the
person. Jessica is also the proud mother of a beautiful
baby boy.

Cyndi
Griffin
Cyndi
Griffin is a junior at the University of South Alabama and
is working on a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
She has also earned an Associate's Degree in Science from
Faulkner State Community College. Currently, Cyndi is a
student intern at Bessie C. Fonvielle Elementary School
with the No Child Left Behind Program. She works in a fifth
grade classroom with mentor teacher Ms. Katherine Fox. After
being out of school for 17 years, Cyndi returned so she
could become a teacher. She believes that she can make a
positive influence on other children and teach them to become
leaders and not followers.

Laurie
Johnson
Laurie
Johnson is a senior at the University of South Alabama.
She is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
Laurie is also an NCLB Student Intern at Fonvielle Elementary
School. She interns in a 5th grade classroom with Ms. Janet
Bell as her Mentor. After graduating in December 2003, Laurie
plans to teach in the Mobile County Public School System.

Melanie
Kendrick
Melanie
Kendrick is a senior at the University of South Alabama. She
is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Melanie
is also participating in the No Child Left Behind Partnership
as a Student Intern at Fonvielle Elementary School. One interesting
fact about Melanie is that she comes from a rather large family
-- she is the youngest of seven children. She also has 18
nieces and nephews with another due in September, one great-niece,
and one god-daughter. |
