| The purpose
of Guided Reading is to help students become independent readers. To determine
groups for Guided Reading, the teacher must be aware of each reader’s
progress. However, all students are not expected to demonstrate good reading skills. Through daily reading
and language arts lessons students will be able to apply strategies necessary
to become good independent readers. |
