| Guided reading provides opportunities
to read text together with the students. It provides time to focus
on strategies such as strategies to solve words or other word work.
For older students, this may mean working on prefixes, suffixes, or similes,
etc. This is during a guided reading lesson using a poem that focused
on similes. This is a guided reading lesson using the book, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs. |
