The University Library has three meeting rooms and an auditorium available for use by University affiliated and non-affiliated groups.
To reserve one of the Library’s meeting rooms, contact the Instructional Media Center at (251) 460-7029. To reserve the Auditorium, contact the Dean's Office at (251-460-7021. Please make sure the facilities are available for your specific time by checking the Library Events schedule.
Room 171
Room 171 seats up to 30 people in theater style seating or 20 people as a small conference or training room. Equipment fees for weekend and after business hours use may apply to your group The room has a viewing screen and white board and can be set up with a LCD projector and computer, and VHS/DVD player. Prior approval by the Head of Circulation Services is required to reserve Room 171.

Room 181
Meeting room 181 can seat up to 50 people. It has a viewing screen and white board and is equipped with a LCD projector and VHS/DVD player. The room can also be used to view video conferences. Equipment fees for weekend and after business hours use may apply to your group. The room can be arranged in either theater or classroom set up. This is the only room within the library that can be used to serve refreshments. Additional media is available upon request. Prior approval by the Head of Circulation Services is required to reserve Room 181.

Room 123
Room 123 is closed temporarily due to renovations.
Auditorium
The library auditorium seats 124 people and four wheelchair-bound persons. It is equipped with a LCD projector, computer, VHS and DVD player, and image projector. The auditorium also has a satellite connection for the viewing of video conferences. The auditorium has a quality sound system and adjustable lighting. Equipment fees for weekend and after business hours use may apply to your group. All organizations not affiliated with the university will be charged an hourly fee to use the auditorium. No food or drink is allowed in the auditorium. If you wish to serve refreshments please reserve both the auditorium and room 181. Requests to reserve the auditorium should be made at least two weeks prior to the event and must be approved by the Dean of University Libraries.

Fees
The purpose of this policy is to clarify use policies and fee schedules for University affiliated and non-affiliated organizations or groups. The policy covers the use of the Auditorium, Room 181, and Room 171 in the University Library. There are no charges for use of other rooms such as Group Study Rooms.
University Affiliated Organizations: It is the policy of the University Library NOT to charge room or equipment fees to university affiliated organizations. However, the IMC will normally require at least one member of the organization to become familiar with light and equipment controls.
University affiliated organizations requesting that an IMC staff member provide technical assistance with audiovisual equipment that is beyond initial setting up and taking down of equipment, familiarization training, and trouble shooting will be charged $25.00 per hour.
Non-USA Affiliated Organizations: It is the policy of the University Library to charge a $25.00 room fee. If University Library equipment is needed a $25/hour fee will be charged during regular business hours 8:00-5:00 p.m. (Monday –Friday).
If University Library equipment is
needed after regular business hours
(Saturday, Sunday, after 5:00 p.m.) a $50.00/hour fee will be charged.
