    S&P RI Manuals are now available on the Web in PDF Format. To learn the basics of the system, which includes more information on how to run preformatted reports such as the one outlined below, refer to the 'Getting Started Guide'.


    To run a report that will provide economic indicators for 6 years for either the U.S. or Canada:
    1. From the left toolbar menu, click on the 3rd button from the bottom 'Open Report' .
    2. Scroll down the list of folders and double click on the folder that is titled 'Market' .
    3. Highlight either the report 'Economic Indicators - Canadian' OR 'Economic Indicators - U.S.' and click 'Finish' at the bottom.
    4. A box that helps you enter data to run the report will appear on the screen. Just click 'OK' at the bottom of the screen.
    5. When the report appears, click the print button.
    6. To find out how to interpret the data, use the pull-down menu at the top of the screen and click on 'Data and Reference'. Click on the 'Find' tab and enter the name (ex. Gross Domestic Product).

World Economic Outlook - "The World Economic Outlook presents the IMF staff's analysis and projections of economic developments at the global level, in major country groups (classified by region, stage of development, etc.), and in many individual countries.  It focuses on major economic policy issues as well as on the analysis of economic developments and prospects.  It is usually prepared twice a year, as documentation for meetings of the International Monetary and Financial Committee, and forms the main instrument of the IMF's global surveillance activities."
