Step-by-Step:
Click on the 'Company Profiles' link, 3rd from the left, at the top of the screen to begin your search.
Browse by alphabet or search for your company's legal name by clicking in the textbox and then clicking on the browse button.
Review the results list and click on the name of your company.
See the graphics to the top right. Moving from left to right, we can print, email, or save. For a correct APA citation to this document, click on the 'Cite' graphic, 4th from the left.
For the company analysis report, you will be citing references according to American Psychological Association (APA) citation style. You will be able to cut and paste the citation in your Word document. Click on the 'X' at the top right to close.
To view your company profile, click on the PDF link.
If we scroll down the first page of the report, we can find the publication date. The profile is a snapshot of a company's performance on a specific date.
Reviewing information to the left, the report provides a number of content areas that may be printed separately such as the SWOT Analysis. Click on the 'SWOT Analysis' link to the left.
Review the company's SWOT Analysis as a starting point for your research. Each of the four areas (S,W,O,T) will need to be reviewed and updated.
To print a portion of the report, begin by clicking on the print icon. Next, clickon the radio button by pages and enter the range of pages to be printed. Then, click the 'ok' button.
You will need to scan the environment (conduct article searches on your company and the specific issues) to determine if the issues listed are still relevant or are there new issues.
To begin a new search, click on 'Company List' at the top left of the screen and then on 'New Search' at the top left of the screen to begin a new search for articles.
