Research Assistance
Email the Business Librarian:

- Department or course number
- Detailed question listing any sources you may have already consulted
Guidelines:
The Business Librarian will advise researchers on appropriate research sources (reference books, indexes, databases, and other research tools) and research strategies that may be used to complete their research. The Business Librarian will not research and compile documents for the requestor unless the question is fact-based and can be answered quickly using readily available reference sources within the MCOB Library.
The Emails will be read twice per day, during the hours the library is open, and answered within 24 hours. Answers will be sent back as a reply to the email sent. If the question is comprehensive, you may be contacted to arrange a consultation appointment with the business librarian.
Call the Service Desk at 251-414-8067 for phone assistance or to make an appointment with the business librarian.
Please submit Interlibrary Loan requests through the ILLiad system.

Setup a Consultation Appointment with the Business Librarian:
USA students, faculty, and staff may setup a consultation appointment with the business librarian for higher-level business research needs which may include:
- comprehensive projects
- follow-up assistance after library instructional sessions
- assistance with quantitative or higher-level databases such as Research Insight, Simmon's Choices III, or RIA
- independent study projects
- faculty, graduate research projects/assignments
Please provide a detailed request including the research question as well as any sources which you may have already consulted.
