USA Piano Workshop Faculty Recital Concert No. 2 featuring visiting faculty James Caton Helton Laidlaw Recital Hall Tuesday, June 26, 2012 3:00 p.m. FIVE GREAT SUMMER PIANO RECITALS The 2012 USA Piano Workshop, presented by the Department of Music, will take place June 25-29 in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. This year's USA Piano Workshop features mostly French music, as this year we celebrate Debussy's 150th birthday. Faculty recitals will be given as part of the Workshop daily Monday through Thursday, June 25-28. General admission is $5. The student recital on Friday, June 29, is free and open to the public. All recitals will be presented at the Laidlaw Recital Hall and begin at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 3:00 p.m. -- James Caton Helton, professor from Ball St. University, will play Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata, works by Liszt, York Bowen and Rachmaninoff, and Debussy's L'isle Joyeuse and two Etudes.
