"God is Dead. So What?",
6:00 pm,
HUMB 170,
The Secular Student Alliance at USA hosts, James Croft, a Research and Education Fellow at the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard. Today in the U.S. more and more people are turning from traditional religion. At the same time, atheists and non- religious people are becoming a more visible and vocal in the American civic landscape. What roles will the growing ranks of the non-religious play in U.S. society, and what values should animate them? James Croft will present a compelling vision of a nonreligious value-driven life stance which can draw the religious "nones" together in an affirmation of what they DO believe in.
