50th Anniversary Celebration, 6:00 pm, Moulton Tower and Alumni Plaza, This crowning event of our 50th Anniversary year will be held at Moulton Tower and Alumni Plaza on Friday evening, May 3, 2013 from 6-9 p.m.-- 50 years to the day from when USA was created by an act of the Alabama Legislature. We will hear from early civic and governmental leaders, faculty, staff, students and alumni, who will give first-person accounts of the early days of the institution as part of a grand celebration evening.   For more information contact Diane Nesmith (Public Relations) at (251) 460-6211.

50th Anniversary Grand Celebration, 6:30 pm, Moulton Tower and Alumni Plaza, 50 Years to the day since the founding of the University on May 3, 1963. The event is featuring music, memories from the first graduating class, early faculty, students, and civic and governmental leaders who helped found the University, and others who were here in USA's beginnings.
