USA Piano Workshop Faculty Recital #1, 3:00 pm, Laidlaw Performing Arts Center, USA Piano Workshop Faculty Recital Concert No. 1 featuring faculty Dr. Robert Holm Laidlaw Recital Hall Monday, June 25, 2012 3:00 p.m. FIVE GREAT SUMMER PIANO RECITALS The 2012 USA Piano Workshop, presented by the Department of Music, will take place June 25-29 in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. This year's USA Piano Workshop features mostly French music, as this year we celebrate Debussy's 150th birthday. Faculty recitals will be given as part of the Workshop daily Monday through Thursday, June 25-28. General admission is $5. The student recital on Friday, June 29, is free and open to the public. All recitals will be presented at the Laidlaw Recital Hall and begin at 3:00 p.m. The Concerts Monday, June 25, 3:00 p.m. -- USA Workshop director Robert Holm presents an Impressionist program featuring Debussy's Images I, Children's Corner Suite and Ravel's five-part Miroirs.   For more information contact Keith Bohnet at (251) 460-7116, send email to kbohnet@usouthal.edu, or visit www.southalabama.edu/music.

USA Piano Workshop Faculty Recital #2, 3:00 pm, Laidlaw Performing Arts Center, USA Piano Workshop Faculty Recital Concert No. 2 featuring visiting faculty James Caton Helton Laidlaw Recital Hall Tuesday, June 26, 2012 3:00 p.m. FIVE GREAT SUMMER PIANO RECITALS The 2012 USA Piano Workshop, presented by the Department of Music, will take place June 25-29 in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. This year's USA Piano Workshop features mostly French music, as this year we celebrate Debussy's 150th birthday. This year's USA Piano Workshop features mostly French music, as this year we celebrate Debussy's 150th birthday. USA Piano Workshop Participant Final Concert, 3:00 pm, Laidlaw Performing Arts Center, USA Piano Workshop Student Participant Final Concert Laidlaw Recital Hall Friday, June 29, 2012 3:00 p.m. - Free admission to the final concert! Students participating in USA's Piano Workshop will perform a mostly French program of pieces they have studied in private lessons and master classes during the week.
