Cardiopulmonary therapists and technicians knowledgeable in the procedures and techniques of respiratory care provide life support of the patient through artificial ventilation, external cardiac massage and other emergency measures and duties as needed.

Our cardiopulmonary staff gives moral and technical support to patients learning to live more efficiently with respiratory challenges. We also take an active role, internally and externally, in increasing the profession’s and the public’s awareness of the risks of smoking and other environmental hazards.
