The Mission of the University of South Alabama Children's and Women's Hospital Development Office is to generate funds and awareness programs for the benefit of children served by the hospital. USA Children's and Women's Hospital is one of only two children's hospitals in Alabama affiliated with Children's Miracle Network.
USA Children's and Women's Hospital specializes in care for children and newborns, as well as expectant mothers.
Our patients receive treatment from doctors, nurses and staff with specific training and experience in the fields of pediatrics and obstetrical care. |
| |
|
Last year, approximately 50,666 children from southern Alabama, northwest Florida, and southeast Mississippi received care from the USA Hospital System. Our labor and delivery unit successfully delivered more than 2,600 babies, many of whom were high risk and complicated pregnancies. This number of births totals more than any other hospital in Alabama - more than all Mobile hospitals combined.
USA Children's and Women's Hospital Office of Development is an active participant in the community. Development professionals participate in several local events to promote awareness and to raise funds supporting the mission of the hospital. |
