| 80-hour work week |

| The department of OB/GYN is committed to the enforcement of the 80 hour work week. In order to comply with the requirements of the ACGME, the residency has implemented several procedures. |

A night float system is employed from Sunday evening through Thursday evening
(5PM to 7 AM). Other residents begin their day at 6AM and end at 5PM unless they are on night float. |

| For the other residents call is only on the weekends when residents typically do a Friday/Sunday shift or a Saturday shift. |
| |
- Friday/Sunday consists of call Friday night (5PM to 6AM) AND Sunday (6AM to 5PM).
- Saturday call is from 6AM until 6AM Sunday.

| • All residents have a 24 hour period off each week. |
| |
| • All residents have at least 1 full weekend off monthly. |
