The Department of Pathology faculty has a strong commitment to graduate medical education. Intentionally, the residents are physically situated in the center of the office area, serving as a constant reminder of their central role in our department. Historically, the high quality, interest, and hard work of our residents have provided rich rewards for the teaching faculty. In return, the faculty members have and will continue to work to provide a flexible, highly individualized, academically rigorous, rewarding and enjoyable environment for our residents. A very close working relationship among the residents and between residents and faculty is fostered.
The Department of Pathology has board certified faculty representing the major subspecialties of pathology including hematopathology, neuropathology, cytopathology, forensic pathology, transfusion medicine, and pediatric pathology. |
