USA’s Charles M. Baugh Biomedical Library Receives Recognition

The Charles M. Baugh Biomedical Library at the University of South Alabama has been recognized by the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) for exceeding their contract expectations.

| According to Beth Wescott with the NN/LM, this recognition acknowledges that serial holdings are accurate and current, library staff is in place and sets itself to high standards, hardware, software and the people have little down time and the established processes work well. |

| The NN/LM exists to advance the progress of medicine and improve the public health by providing all United States health professionals equal access to biomedical information and by improving the public's access to information to enable them to make informed decisions about their health. The Program is coordinated by the National Library of Medicine and carried out through a nationwide network of health science libraries and information centers. The NN/LM consists of 8 regional medical libraries, 140 resource libraries and some 4,700 primary access libraries. |
