| Dr. Thomas W. Butler was recently appointed senior staff medical oncologist at the University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute and will begin accepting patients immediately. |

| Prior to joining USA, Butler served as medical director of Southern Oncology Specialists in Nashville, Tenn., while also having an appointment as clinical assistant professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. From 1993 until 1997, he was medical director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Clarksville Memorial Hospital, Clarksville, Tenn. He has also served as acting chief of the oncology and hematology division at Texas Tech University Health Services Center in Lubbock, Texas, and held an assistant professorship of medicine in the hematology/oncology division at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C. |

| Butler earned his medical degree from University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis, Tenn. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn., and was a fellow in hematology/oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Ala.

Butler is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both medical oncology and hematology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of both the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. |
