High Blood Pressure Research Study

Volunteers are needed to participate in a research study of the investigational use of approved medications used in combination for the treatment of high blood pressure.

Physicians at University of South Alabama are participating in this nationwide research study. Adult volunteers with high blood pressure who have never experienced heart failure, heart attack or stroke are needed to participate. Qualified participants will receive all study-related care including physical exams, lab services, and study medications at no charge. Financial compensation may also be provided.

Clinical research shows that lowering blood pressure is associated with reducing the incidence of heart failure by more than 50 percent, stroke by 40 percent and heart attack by 20 percent.
