USA Travelers' Health Clinics Offer Full Complimentary Health Assistance for International Travelers

Planning ahead for healthy international travel this summer is simplified through the University of South Alabama Travelers’ Health Clinics. The clinics provide a full range of services and assistance for overseas travel preparation for children and adults.

The USA Travelers’ Health Clinics provide pre-travel examinations, counseling and education, immunizations for travel anywhere in the world, medication for the prevention of certain diseases, customized travel health plan based on specific medical needs and travel destination. The clinics are also current on all updated United States State Department travel advisories and can serve as a point of contact should any health emergencies occur while traveling internationally. Post-travel care is provided if needed and consultations, immunizations and medical care for families adopting children overseas are also offered.

All physicians affiliated are specialists in the field of infectious diseases and are members of the USA College of Medicine faculty.

“At the USA Travelers’ Health Clinics, we know that international travel, for business or pleasure, can be exciting and sometimes overwhelming,” said Dr. Benjamin Estrada, associate professor of pediatrics and co-director of the USA Travelers’ Health Clinics. “We prepare travelers individually to make their trip as safe and healthy as possible.”
