The University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute’s SPF (Skin Protection Force) 90 Team will be onsite March 29th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Azalea Trail Run Health Expo in the Mobile Civic Center.

The SPF 90 Team is a team of doctors and healthcare workers from the Mitchell Cancer Institute and the USA Department of Family Medicine who provide free full body skin cancer screenings and prevention information.

Skin cancer is a preventable disease and the program’s name- SPF 90- underscores the important message that protecting your skin from ultraviolet rays is the best way to prevent skin cancer and the fact that 90 percent of skin cancer is curable if detected early.

Our skin cancer specialists will be onsite at the Azalea Trail Health Expo to provide full body skin cancer screenings.
