One of only ten NIH-funded Comprehensive Sickle Cell Centers in the United States, our center provides consultation for the diagnosis, management, and treatment of children and adults with sickle cell disease.

Our mission is to improve the lives of persons affected by this disease through clinical care, basic, clinical and psychological research, and through patient and professional education.
