Adult Care Adult outpatient care for patients with sickle cell disease is held every Thursday in the University of South Alabama Mastin Physicians Office Building. This clinic is directed by Dr. Johnson Haynes, Jr. and staffed by a team comprised of a nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, a social worker, and a data manager. In-hospital treatment of adult sickle cell patients is provided at USA Medical Center and at Infirmary West.
Pediatric Care
Dr. Felicia Wilson
Outpatient care for children and adolescents with sickle cell disease is held every Tuesday at the USA Springhill Campus. In-hospital services for these patients take place at the USA Children's and Women's Hospital and are attended by Dr. Felicia Wilson, Dr. Hamayn Imran and Dr. Aarti Rao. The specialized sickle cell staff includes nurse practitioners, a registered nurse and a social worker.
