Hurricane Information and Resources

What We Have Done

*	Before and during the storm, USA provided safe shelter for students, employees and others.
*	USA’s hospitals and doctors have provided medical assistance for hundreds of storm evacuees, many of whom do not have resources to pay for care. Total number of people served continues to rise.
*	USA provided housing, office space, communications support, and food to Mobile area law enforcement officials before, during and after the storm, serving as one of the primary communications centers for emergency personnel.
*	USA this semester will accommodate more than 100 students displaced from other coastal universities.
*	Hundreds of university employees and students have been involved in disaster relief in all areas affected by the storms. Some have provided voluntary labor, while others have organized food drives and fundraising activities. Others have opened their homes to evacuees.
*	USA provided university sponsored transportation to take food and supplies to Hurricane stricken areas.
*	Before, during and after the storm, USA has provided communications assistance to those needing information on the status of loved ones, etc.
*	USA has created Web pages to provide a wide range of services to storm victims.
