USA Hospitals recognize and accept many types of insurance programs. Payment is usually arranged before admission. In some cases, insurance carriers require pre-certification. Please remember, it is the patient's responsibility to make sure this is obtained prior to admission.

Many times, patients receive bills after they leave the hospital. This is because not all charges have been calculated by the time of discharge. In addition to room charges, other services may be charged separately, including oxygen, pharmaceuticals, lab tests, x-rays, surgical procedures, physical therapy and others. Certain physician services, such as radiology, anesthesiology and pathology will also be billed separately.
