The University of South Alabama Department of Art & Art History is hosting Cross Connections: 2018 International Exhibition of Design and Illustration, a juried exhibit featuring artwork from 10 universities from around the world.
The exhibit is on view at the Art Gallery in the Visual Arts Building Complex, just off University at William and Mary Drive. It is a simultaneous opening at 10 Universities in the US, China, Belgium, Taiwan, Russia, and Mexico. The opening reception will be held on Thursday, October 18 at 4:00 pm.
The exhibition consists of 96 juried works, including 80 print-based works and 16 screen-based works of animation and user-centered design from international students and faculty. The entries display a range of visual communication forms and conceptual contemporary design.

Annual Fall Art Sale
The Department of Art & Art History will be hosting an art sale at the end of Fall semester. It is open to the general public in the courtyard and gallery of the Visual Arts Complex. Students and faculty will be participating. All studio areas of the department will be represented in the annual art sale. The areas of concentration include: ceramics, glass, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture. We look forward to seeing the faculty, staff, students, and public at this annual event.
