Graduate Assistantships

Applicants to the Master of Arts Program in Sociology who wish to be considered for financial assistance through a Graduate Assistantship (currently $4,500 for both the Fall and Spring semester in addition to a tuition waiver for both the Fall and Spring semester) must submit a Graduate Assistant Appointment Form directly to the Master of Arts Program in Sociology, care of the Graduate Coordinator. Applicants who wish to be considered for Fall admission to the Master of Arts Program in Sociology, and for a Graduate Assistantship, should submit all admission application materials and a Graduate Assistant Appointment Form to the appropriate recipient by March 1. Review of admission application materials and the Graduate Assistant Appointment Form will begin immediately thereafter and continue until all available Graduate Assistantships are awarded. Additional financial assistance for students in the Master of Arts Program in Sociology is available through funded research projects with members of the graduate faculty.
