Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s Degree in Sociology

The Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s in Sociology degree program provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in sociology at an accelerated pace.  To earn an accelerated master’s degree in sociology, students must complete a total of 30 credit hours of graduate-level coursework—12 hours as an undergraduate and 18 hours (one academic year) as a graduate student. Students who apply to the Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s program must meet the requirements for admission to the USA Graduate School and to the Master of Arts Program in Sociology.

In addition to meeting the requirements for admission to the Master of Arts Program in Sociology, applicants to the accelerated bachelor’s to master’s program must have:

  • a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA
  • completed at least 90 credit hours
  • completed at least 30 credit hours at USA
