Chef Gabrielle Wilson
Chef Gabrielle Wilson has been in the culinary arts field over 20 years. A graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, she began her professional journey on the line in various restaurants in New Mexico, Rhode Island, and Washington. Rising through the ranks, Chef Wilson opened a café in Tacoma, Washington while also beginning her career as a culinary educator at the Art Institute of Seattle. An opportunity to lead the Culinary Arts program at Bishop State Community College saw her make the move to Alabama. She also has developed the Culinary Medicine program in partnership with the University of South Alabama and the Mitchell Cancer Institute. She lives with her two kids who explore new culinary adventures in the region with her and a very cross-eyed dog named Remoulade.
