Welcome to the Jungle- This is an event to kick off the school year with fun and games provided by different engineering societies on campus.
We would like to thank the Alabama Space Grant Consortium for providing generous funds to support this project.
Boys and Girls Club-The Launch Society had fun presenting basic rocketry to the children of the Boys and Girls Club. The students were able to build and launch air-powered straw rockets.
World of Opportunities-This was an exposition to get middle school students to explore different fields of S.T.E.M. They got a chance to come and talk to us about rocketry and they also got to build and launch straw rockets.
