Research Interests

My research interest is to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease. We employ a combination of traditional engineering approaches (solid mechanics and fluid mechanics) and biological techniques (tissue engineering and physiology) to develop models to better understand the pathology of cardiovascular disease and characterize the failure of cardiovascular devices.
