The Mitchell College of Business prepares students for careers in a number of fields. Students with undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, or Marketing can expect to be prepared to not only enter but excel in today’s competitive job market. The program is structured so that students may complete their undergraduate degrees in four years. For those students wishing to continue their education we offer an MBA, MACC and DBA. Students in the Mitchell College of Business enter South as Pre-Business majors. Most of the first two years are spent completing college prerequisite and general education requirements.

First year learning communities for students entering the Mitchell College of Business include the required first year experience course (BUS 150), the professional experience I (BUS 101), and a English Composition (EH 101 or EH 102) course, or a Calculus and Its Applications (MA 120) course.
